Gretta & Krzystof – Out big, fat Polish-Peruan wedding !

What it’s like to work together.

On a sunlit summer day on Bornholm, surrounded by the Baltic Sea and the island’s rugged cliffs and gardens, Gretta and Krzysztof celebrated far more than a wedding. Their elopement became a beautiful meeting point between Peru and Poland — two vibrant cultures brought together through love, family, food, and tradition.

Gretta travelled from Peru with warmth, colour, and the joyful energy so deeply rooted in Peruvian celebrations. Krzysztof brought the quiet elegance and heartfelt traditions of Poland. Together, they created a wedding day that felt deeply personal and wonderfully alive, where two families from opposite sides of the world gathered on a small Danish island to witness something unforgettable.

Bornholm proved to be the perfect setting for their intimate celebration. The island’s peaceful gardens, sea views, and relaxed Nordic atmosphere gave everyone space to slow down and truly enjoy the day together. Guests travelled from both Peru and Poland, bringing stories, laughter, languages, and traditions that blended naturally throughout the celebration.

After the ceremony, everyone gathered for a long garden party beneath the summer sky. Tables were filled with delicacies inspired by both cultures — a delicious fusion of Peruvian flavours and beloved Polish classics. Colourful dishes, homemade desserts, fresh local ingredients, and shared toasts turned the dinner into an experience in itself. Conversations flowed between Spanish, Polish, and English while music and laughter carried through the garden late into the evening.

What made the day so special was not only the stunning setting or the beautiful details, but the feeling of togetherness. Weddings like this remind us how love has the extraordinary ability to bridge cultures, languages, and traditions. Instead of choosing between their backgrounds, Gretta and Krzysztof embraced both completely, allowing their families and friends to experience something entirely unique.

Their Bornholm elopement was intimate without being small, elegant without feeling formal, and emotional in the most genuine way. It was a celebration of heritage, family, and the adventure of building a shared future together — one where Peru and Poland now forever meet.
