Hammershus is not only one of Bornholms main attractions, it is also a popular location for stunning wedding pictures. The best time to shoot at Hammershus is definitely at sunset, when the tourists are gone and light is just amazing. No wonder they call it golden hour!
The castle itself is located a 20 min. walk uphill from the parking lot and the path is not paved and quite uneven. Therefor it is highly recommended to bring a pair of changing shoes for the bride..Alternatively the castle can be used as a background from far away as there are many good photo stops on the way and in front of the ruins.
